The 88 Fortunes slot machines seems to be fairly popular and is in many ways similar to the even more popular Fu Dao Le slot machine, with many of the same features. 88 Fortunes does offer the different concept of “Gold Symbols” which basically means the higher your bet, standard symbols are replaced by gold counterparts which pay more. While I may be wrong, it would seem if you don’t bet max on this game, you are seriously hobbled in any attempt for a Big Win or Jackpot. The higher your bet, the more gold symbols you activate and in addition, you are also eligible for higher progressives. To get the bonus, you need 3 or more bonus “Gong” symbols from left to right: getting more than 3 will just pay you a higher scatter award but will not award you more than the standard 10 free spins. During the bonus, the lower-value symbols are suppressed, giving you the chance for bigger wins with more valuable symbols. Also during the standard and bonus games, every time you get a wild symbol, you may enter the “Gold Coin Feature” and be awarded a Mini, Minor, Major, or Grand Jackpot. Unlike some games, how you pick in this game doesn’t matter as it’s not a fair pick. Admittedly this isn’t the best 88 Fortunes video, but at least gives you a sense of the game, and as it’s not one of my favorites, this will have to suffice as it’s the best I could do, Enjoy!
